I am a proud owner of a 2000 Honda Recon (my 1st Quad). I am strictly a Trail Riding Freak(dirt, mud, cliffs, rock hills, etc)

I have recently heard about the HighLifter Monster Power High Performance Kit. The kit includes the following:
* SuperTrapp IDS2 High Performance Exhaust
* Dynojet Jet Kit
* K & N High Flow Air Filter
* K & N Recharger Filter Care Kit
* OuterWears Water Resistant Pre-Filter
* NGK High Performance Racing Spark Plug

I am NOT looking to race the Recon - I am just looking to get some overall performance - better hill climbing, more power in turns, faster off the line starts.

Does anyone know if this kit is what I am looking for or are there other things I can do to the Recon that will accomplish what I am looking to do?
Anyone with an opinion regarding this would be great!

Thanks,

Mark

That monster performance kit is expensive. I would open up the air box first, pipe later.

That kit isn't all that expensive but it is so sweet! I have it on my recon. It doesn't affect the top end but the low end power and the midrange is awesome now. It is exactly what you are lookin for.

Where can I purchase this motor kit for the Recon?
My wife and I have a '99 Recon each and I also ride a '00 300EX.

You can get this at www.highlifter.com - there you will see all the info you need for the Performance Monster Kit!

Call there so you make sure you order the right kit for the right ATV!
