Call FTZ at 573-334-5439. You will also need a new needle and will have to remove some air jets. They can tell you what is needed. Wade usually answers the phone.

Have you called FTZ yet? If you pm me I can help with the conversion and jetting.

Powroll is doing my crank, FTZ is installing my sleeve and boring, the company that custom ground the cam for my 521 ford stroker in my 68 truck is grinding the cam after the head is flow benched. As of right now, I am doing my own porting. I have access to a flow bench so I can do it trial and error. The hardest part is going to be starting the thing. My 410 kit in the 250x engine that I have now is above 14.5:1 compression. The 454 kit in the 350x engine will be almost 15.0. I hope the 39 FCR that I have now will be enough for the high reving 454. I already have a 35 that I orginally bought for the 250x and I don't need a third $400 carb.

WE have had good luck using a OFFB-B NEEDLE on the 4th clip frim the top, from SUDCO.And reeming the e-tube to .115 as well as the main jet. This is a starting point on the main jet!! I would recomend a PINGEL fuel valve also.

Kenzcycle, you had to ream your dump tube? .115 is a good starting point. Run a good plug such as NGK platinum with a 9 heat range at .018 gap.
