Does anyone know if you can convert a 2 wheel drive Rancher into a 4 wheel drive? If so, do you know of website where I could purchase the conversion kit? Is it possible to find a wrecked 4 wheel drive Rancher and scavenge the parts from it to do the conversion? What do you have to do to convert the 2 wheel Rancher to 4 wheel drive? Someone posted this question way back when. If I remember correctly, the end analysis was that it would cost more than is would be worth to buy the parts to do the conversion.

 

I personally, like my 2wd and don't want to convert it, but I have looked into this as have others, and it would be cheaper and MUCH MUCH easier to just trade or sell your 2wd rancher and buy a 4x4.
