I have a Foreman 400 and am wondering how to keep up or even beat my Rancher friend. He gets me off the line then I catch up but then he pulls ahead slowly. WHat can I do to my stock Foreman to keep up with him? I don't really want do anything with the carb. A new exhaust? If so which one. Some help here would be nice! Thanks!

puting on a new pipe and not rejetting will only change the exhaust note of your quad. same thing happens when you put Flowmasters on a Mustang. they sound real nice but run no better than stock.

try a K&N. then new pipes and rejetting...

I agree with Cartman. Open up your airbox first, then add a pipe later. Once my Rancher is out of warrenty those are the first two mods I am makings , then a set of tires!

There are several post about checking to see if your throttle is opening up all the way. I checked mine the other day and found that it was only opening up 65-75%. When I made the adjustment at the handle bars it ran quite a bit better. I have not been able to clock it yet or compare to a friends but plan to soon. Good luck.
