Default A honda owner again

I just got back from my dealer and am the owner of a new rubicon. The dealer had a 2002 demo left over that had so few miles on it that the little nubs on the original tire treads weren't worn off yet.Our retail price in canada for the bare rubicon is $10,499 but for the grand total of $9600 including taxes I have a like new rubicon with winch installed and the dealer is throwing in 26x10 and 26x12 gators as well.He is also honoring the full warantee on this machine even though it supposedly was a demo.

Wow sounds like a good deal. I payed over $10,000 for mine and that was with no winch. What kind of winch did you have installed? How big? I'm in the process of shopping for one thats why I'm asking. I'm thinking a 2500 will do the trick.

I just took a quick look at the winch and it is a warn 2000lb.I would choose a 2500 myself but at the price I paid I can live with the 2000.

That is a pretty good deal. I just picked up my foreman 450ES today with a Warn 2500lb winch and 26x10 and 26x12 mudbugs. I looked at getting the gators but I found that they were heavier than the mudbugs so didn't get them. Hope to take my new quad for a rip tomorrow if the weather holds up.

I think when it comes time to replace the stock tires on the Rubicon, I will definatly be looking for a light tire. Some of the guys I ride with have Titan 589's. Great tire, very aggresive, but heavy. Much harder on gas, and they rob a noticible amount of power. Right now my first choice would have to be the Itp Mudlites. Still a 6 ply tire, but lighter.

Kootenay rider-I don't even bother with factory tires anymore.Factory tires are pretty much useless in the muskeg swamps that I often cross while hunting so my dealer takes them in trade and I have bigger more aggressive rubber installed before even taking delivery.
