I agree with all in the fact that the 250R is the best, but unless its sand or dragracing you are doing, the LT250R is far more reliable, better handling and gobs more torque than the Banshee, it just alot more rideable quad. Ask a banshee man how much money he has in his motor $5000, $7000 $10000 who knows, and the frame is a box, not a MX quad.

03Foreman, that last post was a joke, right? The lt is FAR ore reliable than a banshee? Yea, ok. Just wish I knew wherer people come up with this idea that the banshee is unreliable? Oh yea, Ive got a whopping $1900 into my motor, a mild 420 Stroker. It would take a HEAVILY built 250 to beat it, but if it did, its probably not a dune bike, like mine is.
have you ever owned a Banshee?
Im not saying the banshee is the best all around, but i just dont understand this rep that the banshee is just the most unreliable and worst handling quad out there...

As I have stated many times I feel the Honda 250R is the best all around quad ever made and the by far the best MXer, what I was saying the last post was that I felt the against the Banshee the LT250r was a more ridable and reliable platform for everything except sand and drag racing.
I know you will say that you never see LT at the track but there are "some" Banshees", that is because they have been making the Banshee unchanged for 75 years and there are tons of them out there and tons of aftermarket parts available and if you feel like dumping $5,000 to $10,000 into it you could probably race it and why would you race an LT when you could race a 250R. Although the only competative MX Banshees I have seen all run Lone Star (250R style) frames in them.
