I want to purchase a Honda ATV for Trail riding and some snow plowing. I was thinking of the Rincon, but I am concerned with its high gears that it won't work well plowing. I will probably need something that is automatic for the plowing. What are your thoughts and what models would you consider? I will be doing much more Trail riding than plowing.

 

I have a forman 450 and this machine does both of these tasks very well for me. No trouble with the machine yet, and its a '98.

 

You may want to look at the Rubicon. It's not the most nimble trail machine, but can plow with the best of them. It does a good job on trails. Once they put Trax-Loc on it, it'll be even better. Another choice might be the new 2004 Rancher 400. It will have the same auto tranny as the Rubicon, but should be a little smaller in size, making it more nimble.
