440ex vs stock 250r
#2
oops! Hit wrong key. I'm getting my ex a big bore, port, polish, all around cam, wb rev box, k&n filter, head pipe and silencer, high compression and thats it besides the hinson clutch kit. In 3 weeks, my cousin and I will be putting the 2 up against each other in all kinds of conditions. Drag racing on black top and dirt, and also some woods riding. Should be a blast, any predictions?

The 440 will win for sure unless its built like crap, or if that stock 250r is stock like some I have seen with pipes porting ect.
My 440 will beat my bro-in-laws 250r bored .020 port polish, piped, filter ect.

Its all in the way the motor is built.
I have raced a guy with a built 400EX that kept neck and neck with my 330R.
On the other hand, a friend of mine with a 440EX went head to head against my girlfriends worn out 250R (still on the stock piston and rings).
My girlfriend beat him pretty badly. She even let up on the gas to let him catch up, and then gunned it again and pulled away.
No lie, this really did happen.

My bro raced a 440 with cam, pipe, rev b, filter, and lower gears, the 440 beat him but only by about 2 or 3 bikes he has a cam, pipe, filter, rev box and lower gearing. My 275R takes his 400 like nothing.
