I live in southern California, Ventura County to be exact. I called Honda of Thousand Oaks, the guy over there (Yannick) made a guess, he thinks it will be roughly $5500 MSRP. Then you add tax, license, blah, blah...but he's looking at the pricing structure for the existing Rancher lineup. I called a Honda dealer in Hillsborough, Oregon and they quoted me $5899. I am seriously considering the Rancher AT or the 400EX. The 2-wheel drive Rancher right now is $4500 and you add ESP shifting that bumps it to $4700, go 4x4 and it goes up to $5300, then 4x4ESP goes to $5500, so like I said they think $5500 to start but I am guessing it could get up another couple hundred. BTW they say it will be around May 1 before they have any

I was trying to decide between a 400 sport quad and a 400 4x4. I've been waiting to see if Honda will come out with something new. But I'm also waiting to see how the Z400 holds up with it's frame. But then came winter and I thought a 4x4 would be nice. Even though my Recon did great this winter. It was just that once in awhile, I'd try to drive on older tracks where a 4x4 had gone a few days earlier. Only to make it a short distance. So now, I'm thinking 4x4. I would like to see the new Rancher 400 offered between $5300. and $5600. If it is too much then the Foreman 400 comes into view for $5899.
Do you think they will drop the 400 Foreman from the lineup? But the Foreman doesn't have selectable 2x4 to 4x4. They have to release a price for the 400 Rancher soon if it'll be out around May.
