I'm going to buy a service manual for my '00 400EX, and I need to know if the best one to get is the factory Honda manual, or is one of the other brand manuals better? I don't care about price, just information covered, which one is more thorough? Thanks.

Better buy the factory Honda service manual it's around $40 from your Honda dealer.

Motorhead,
If you really want to get all the info, The best way would be to have both the factory and Clymer manuals. I have the factory manual for my Warrior but I've found that certain topics are covered in a more extensive way in one than the other, and the photos are from different angles in each book.

I have had many of both manuals, and the honda is by far much better as it never assumes anything. THe climber always skips stuff that they think you should know
