Instead of buying them, They can also be drilled to size of your choice.

My stock was 38 and I drilled it to a 42.

The run on pilot jets I think is due to cold weather.

BG400,
I'm surprised to hear that you can't get that pilot jet. This past weekend I went to the Honda dealer I bought my 400EX from because I wanted to try a 40 and 42. They had the 42 in stock and special ordered the 40 for me. That was Saturday- they called Tuesday to let me know the 40 was in.

If you can't get the part at your dealer you may want to try Dennis Kirk, 1-800-328-9280, they have Keihin main jets and pilot jets. They are open 24/7.

Some dealers don't like to stock a lot of jets because they don't make a lot of money on them. and with all the sizes it's hard for them to have enough of a certain size in stock.
