Polaris sport 400 vs 400ex
#31
my buddy's got a 440 scrambler 4x2 with a pipe, reeds tires and he switched his gears,i've got a 400ex with a clamb on pipe,k&n,air vents, and rejetted carb.anyway he smoked me midrange about 4-5 quads, top end is the same,we also raced on the ice and i killed him by a holeshot,he just spun his tires.i think his tires helped him hook up alot.I'm getting a 440 kit, cam, harden rockers, rev kit,and a 39mmcarb.I can't wait to see his face and shut his hole about how he beat me.

One of the guys that ride with me sometimes had a polaris 400. I race him against my 99' 400ex in a drag race up a sandy hill. Beat him by 5 to 6 bike lengths. He put a racing pipe on. Beat him again. He put a clutch kit and something else but I don't remember what it was, no matter I still beat him. But I have to admit I raced him a week or two ago and he beat me hands down in a quarter mile drag race on a dried up river bottom with both of us running paddles. Oh yeah did I fail to mention this is after he sold the polaris and bought a 2000 banshee. My ex is stock with the exeption of a twist throtle. See ya.

I think they are pretty even machines. Why dont we all agree on that and get out and ride? Personally I wish I had bought a Polaris. Sure it is heavier but it is also larger this is good for someone who is six feet tall! As far as the race goes the Polaris will win some and the Honda will win some.

Whoa, i think tater300ex spoke the only Intelligent words in this whole thread!
Who cares what is better, I am not anti any brand any more. I learned my lesson.
I used to ditch Blasters all the time! And now look what i have! I even trade my Trailblazer for it.
These forums are just getting too bitchy. Stop whining and ride!
