I have been checking into doing some motor work on my 350x motor. . i have checked into going as big as the 425, 432 and 452 kits. . but I wasn't sure if I wanted to go that big becuase they say the cases have to be machined. . just wondering if anyone has had one over the years and done a kit that big in it. Any help would be appreciated!! I'd want to go with a cam and all. . why not right???

 

A friend of mine had a 430 kit in his 350X. It was in a R' frame, that thing whipped but he had some problems with reliability, he ran it for a year or more then took it out, he said it just wasn't worth the reliability issues, more power can be had easier with more reliability with a bigger engine. The only real big advantages with the X are the 6 speed and oil cooled. Powroll has some smaller kits available Powroll.

Is this motor in an ATC or are you putting it in a quad frame?

 

This motor is in my trx frame. . .i've checked with powroll before. . i was just kinda wondering about he bigger kits. . if they have many problmes. . .thanks killer
