i know i know , if you want to be faster get a bigger bike.. ive heard that before, BUT my wife aint real good with the clutch, sooo i want to move that rev limiter up a bit, any companies make the CDI for the little 250ex???

i dont think anyone makes that for a 250ex

 

I was just at my honda dealership for some parts this weekend. I was talking to one of the mechanics there, and he said he had found either a cdi, or a way to modify the existing cdi, to bump it up 2500 rpm. Said he was going to do some dyno runs, and to get back with him in a couple of weeks. I doubt in stock form a 250ex would gain anything from a cdi mod, and i would definately be concerned about a push rod motor turning 10,000+ rpms. Hey, but you never know, it is a honda [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

I wouldn't put much stock in it. The more I think about the conversation, the more i think he may have just been blowing smoke. I will check back though.
