Default Am I too big for a Recon?

I am 6' 4" and I weigh 225 and my Dad is 6' 1" and he was about 320 and we have no problems riding alone. If you are planning to break the rules and have a passenger then the turns can be a little long but most ATV's are that way. I have had the 500 Sportsman and a Grizzly and they are not as much fun for just riding, they are better for passengers and alot of Off-Road (Mud Riding) because they just don't stop. With the Recon you shouldn't have any trouble with speed. I love mine, I will never get a huge ATV again.

Wheelinforlife- I was just helping the guy out. Maybe he didn't know there was a better quad than the Recon for the same price. Also Suzuki is not crap every machine they make has better performance than Honda if they are in the same class.

I had a recon at one time, never had any trouble with it. I ran it through water and drownd it out many at time, just get the water out of th cylinder ride home change the oil and keep on going. They can haul a decent load and you can buy a trailor hitch for it (about $40). I always punished my recon I hit rev limiter countless times jumped it, mudded, climb some crazy hills all sorts of stuff. They 're rugged too, I rolled mine down hills, flipped over backwards hit some stuff and it always ran great. A single 165lbs rider is cake for a recon, I use to loadup 5 people on mine and head out down the road.....that was scary but definatly fun. Go with the Recon, they have PROVEN reliability unlike the fairly new Ozark, and Honda'a always seam to have a higher resale value then other brands from the same class.

PS lets put an end to the pointless arguement above, just remember.....

"arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win, at the end your still retarded"
