Im sure it is a 99' kodiak, my friend has a 99' and it is about to blow at 50MPH Yes the 00' is much faster isnt it

 

My Rancher has lots of pick up, but seems to hold back in 5th gear. I wonder if Honda has put in some governor system to limit the top end of the ranchers. Mine is still new so I don't really want to peg it wide open for any length of time anyway

I have a 00' Rancher ES 4x4. I have only gotten it up to 42 mph. I am 280 lbs. Do you think that it is just because of my weight or could there be some thing wrong with my machine.

I weigh 250. I rode on asphalt. I am at sea level. These all make a big difference.

 

i have been smoke by kodiaks abunch i beat them off the line put after that they just pulled away from me kodiaks will top out at 60
