my wife and i were getting her rubicon ready for a ride tomorrow. got it from myuncle,it has a torn outer cv boot in front .should she ride tomorrow or is to much of a risk?will be getting it fixed monday for big ride next weekend,but need advice tonite.thanks

it still is all full of grease did not see any dirt inside.

 

BigD,it would probably be OK,but I don't think I would take a chance on messing up a $300 + axle!

 

how expensive to fix boot?

 

If you take it to a dealer,your probably gonna drop somewhere round $150.00..If you fix it yourself,round $25.00..
