I have a 00 400 & am thinking about going to a 426 bore. My concern is reliability & longevity.
Has anyone had this set up for awhile & how does it hold up over the long run. Does the fcr carb make that much improvement, & is it all on the top.. Thanx.........

My 426 was put togather last June it has alot of hours on it. 0 Problems. The carb really makes a huge diffrence but only with a cam and head work. it helps from mid throttle & up. Beware no choke it doesnt start well below 32 degrees. The 426 with a carb will out run a 440 without (436 actually) go with a twist throttle the spring load is murder on your thumb.

99 426ex , Web Cam, FCR carb w/ twist, CT revlimiter, DMC exhaust, XCT's ,K&N, One kit, Renthal bars, DG nerfs, Armidillo Swingarm plate, 8 paddle Haulers
