Rincon CV Joints
Anyone out there that has experienced front inbound CV Boot and Hub damage with a Rincon. I had both sides go out on me the last trip out. Did about 130 miles of Mud and high speed runs. Got back and loaded trailer only to find the problem. Talked with another rider with a Rincon that they race and had the same problem. His Rin had stock size tires (narrower for racing) and mine has 27" 589 with a Highlifter Kit. Pass the word to see if anyone else has this problem

I'd say the highlifter kit is your problem. The CV joints are always working at their extreme. Try to fit the tires without the lift kit, they are way more trouble than they are worth.
I wish that someone would come out with a proper lift kit for quads that do more than move the shock mount??? We need something like they make for IFS trucks that are engineered to lift but keep CV angles within factory tolerances.

Thanks. I just got off the phone with Honda Rep and he indicates the same problem with the lift kits. They do not recommend any lift kits period. With over aggressive tires you will probably be ok. I'll give this a try. Lift kit was the first thing to go. Lost 1" of height but still should be able to get through mud with ease. I'll keep this site posted of any thing else we find.

In the mud, I can walk circles around the Grizz's and Polaris machines. It is awsome. The only problem is though you find yourself at the end of the pack when going through the mud holes. Someone has to be last to pull the others out. Just a great ride. Wouldn't mind having a reverse override. Anyone hear of a mod yet ?????????
