Well Max, I really don't no how much the help in front, but my wife has 2.5 inch spacers on the rear of her 250ex and it really makes the rear wider. I'm sure that it is as wide as my 400ex. She really likes the stabillity of it on uneven ground. The cheapest place I've seen durablue wheel spacers is Rocky Mountain Atv. the web site is www.rockymountainatv.com I know they say that wheel spacers are really hard on the A-arms and rear axles if you do alot of jumping. But they are wonderful for trail riding. Rocky mountain's price is $59.95 for the front set that adds 1.5 inches to each side, and $59.95 for the rear set that adds 2.5 inches to each side. Rocky mountain dosen't have a part # for the 250ex, but any 99-03 400ex front spacers should fit you 250ex, as long as it is a 4/144 bolt pattern. I know for a fact that the 99-03 400ex rear spacers will fit a 250ex.
Hope this helps. Good Luck

are the front ones really that hard on the a arms? cause i do alot of jumping. I dont want to get rear wheel spacers because im sure i will bend the axle. i would get a axle but i really dont want to spend 300$ for one. i have ordered some stuff from rocky mountain b4. i noticed they dont have spacers for the 250 but like u said the 400 spacers mite fit, thanks.

Hey Max its me again. I would like to correct myself. The wheel spacers don't put stress on the A-arms, it puts stress on the Hubs. I think I would feel safe just putting the spacers on the front. I thought about putting them on the front of my 400ex, so I will keep checking in to see if anyone else has any suggestions.

i dont recomend hte front spacers to any one i have them on the front of my raptor and it gives more leverage to the tires and it is very easy to bend a tierod like i did. they catch on things and ripe the handle bars right out of your hands. i dont like them at all. my tie rod looks like a horse shoe. Dont by them trust me on this one.
