It's kinda funny that you write that you are in Kentucky because it says Ohio under your name.
When buying a used quad. It comes down to what is available in your area. You might be able to find these quads- Recon, TRX 300, Beartacker, Bayou, Timberwolf, to name a few. Find a couple that are for sale in your area and price range. Then make another post asking which sounds like the better deal.

a bear tracker sounds like the canidate. you can find them really cheap used and they are all around descent quads. they are only 250 but they get you you around. my friend jumps his beartracker against some kid on a blaster and the beartracker wins all the time. you might also look into the timberwolf. they are almost the same as the beartracker but it is a 4x4. good for mudding.

Ordinarily I wouldn't suggest a dealer for used but...... Lake Hill Motors and Abernathy Honda sell new Hondas at a discount. A 2003 Recon is $2,749 out the door, Rancher is $3,349 out the door. This pushes down the price of their used Hondas. It may be worth a phone call.
