I've got spring fever... I don't feel like raking the yard... I feel like going out to the range & pop off a few rounds... maybe I should just set up the climbing stand, grab a beverage & a snack, & the 10-22, & go out & relax while attempting to lower the population of rabbits that have thoroughly ruined most of my ( last years ) new trees... maybe catch a few ZZZZZ's while I'm at it...

 

Ya I could go for shooting some miller lite birds with the 22 right now.

 

you could always catch a flight to Iraq,,,,plenty of shootin going on over there

 

Only problem is those varments shoot back

Read this thread earlier and it got me to thinking I needed a little stress relief. Picked up a .45 and some ammo, got on the wheeler and went across the field. Just got back and although I'm about 700 rounds lighter I do feel better. Thanks for the idea. Now I've got some reloading to do this evening.

As for turning the middle east into a parking lot, I think a glass parking lot would be pretty.

A couple of weeks ago I ran 21 rounds through my new toy, a 50 BMG. Even though the nearest neighbor lives ½ mile away and has had firearms all of his life, he sure was wondering what that was going off over at my place. I must say it definitely has a bigger roar than anything else in my collection. I’ve been gathering ammo here and there for it and have reloading equipment on order since the cartridge is too big for my existing equipment to handle. So far an old V8 engine that I’ve laid out downrange has taken the brunt of the punishment from it…
