Default Advice Needed Regarding Tires / Mowing

I have been atving a whole 4 days now. I have a 2004 Outlander Max and was going to use a pull behind Swisher mower for 3 acres. I have 25 x 10 x 12 rear and 25 x 8 x 12 on front which are factory tires. I hate to be so giving and free with my "NO KNOWLEDGE" but feel you should know that I won't be insulted if you give me info in very "Basic Terms". With that in mind....

The factory tires seem aggressive for finish mowing which is my primary goal. Is there tires by any brand that you would think is better suited for that use???

Common Sense tells me that the words "TURF TAMER" in the ads I see are for this - but the caption says they are racing tires???

Is this realistic? I want atv to primarily mow and perhaps buy a suitable set of tires for this and have permanently on their own set of wheels, THEN remove them 3-4 times a year and put on my factory tires / wheels for snow plowing season which is also hunting season and perhaps 2 other times a year to go have fun on a trail. Too much work? Is there one set of tires that are perhaps great for mowing and okay to haul a deer out of woods and snow plow w/wo chains?

ANY help would be sincerely appreciated.
Thank You,
Mark

Turf tires will help some, but traction won't be much, you don't want to go trail riding on turf tires, you will get stuck. Think about getting a second set of rims and having turf tires mounted on those - putting tires on a rim is not something you can do in your garage.

Quads have their rear axle locked, so if you turn sharp you're going to tear up the lawn, even with turf tires. That's your biggest problem.

I mow 3 acres with my atv and a swisher t-60 finish mower every week and have no damage to the lawn. I have 27" 589's, and they are real aggessive. The only time you might get some damage is if it is really wet. I did put the stock tires on it for a while in the spring when the ground was really wet after several consecutive rains. Before you buy turf tires, you might mow it a few times and see how it does.
