Out of curiousity, What draw weight do most people set there bows at and what do you mostly hunt with the bow. I see there is a few in here that shoot 72-80 lbs and although I did the same thing when I was younger it is not necessary for whitetails or black bears. I have found that at 65 pounds my 420 grain arrow is going 276 fps and has never failed to pass through an animal yet. I even went up to one that had been hit by a car and was still very much alive curled up it the grass and shot it. The way the deer was curled up the arrow actually went through the spine and out the shoulder and stuck in the dirt. I have since lowered mine to 60 lbs and unless you are after moose or brown bears I can't see drawing 70-80 lbs. At 60 lbs I can hold it back a long time and draw it easily in cold weather. I have to believe many people are shooting more draw weight than they can handle properly. If the draw weight is correct you should be able to sit down indian style, hold the bow out in front of you and draw straight back without moving the bow to help. I see a lot of people that actually draw by starting with the arm with the bow bent and pointly slightly upward and pushing with the bow while pulling with the other arm and this is incorrect. If you have to draw the bow that way and it is to much draw weight.

I've got a Mathews MQ1 80% set at 57 lbs. 2312 Eastons with 100 gr Thunderheads give me around 260-270 fps, plenty for hunting. I used to have PSEs for God only knows how many years, and finally decided I wanted to try something different, I've never looked back. I had an Ultramax and a Conquest stolen a number of years ago, and replaced them with two MQ1s, identical bows. I simply couldn't find anything I liked any better, and the insurance company wanted to see receipts for two bows. I've since sold one and kept the other. I also shoot a Martin Hunter recurve for recreation.

I shoot a High Country Tssr. My buddy shoots a Bow-Tech Widowmaker 3(oops i mean Diamond ) I'm giving him hell since Diamond sold out to Bow Tech.
And my bow is at 29 inch draw cranked at 73 lbs. I love this bow. We weighed it the other day and it weighed almost 4 lbs with 3 arrows and my release on the bow.
