Community Suggests Gun Possession Is Illegal For Residents
another attempt of a homeowners association trying to rule someones life, property, and possessions. homeoweners associations are the biggest ripoff and joke i have ever seen and they are facing allot of heat in the court system right now over ridiculous rules. most of them are losing the battle to keep stupid rules, but as fast as subdivisions go up, a new one is formed and them some pompus @ss gets to be "president" and it goes to their head and they start stuff... i think they should be banned altogether and just have a few rules of subdivisions: dont let people see your crap, dont junk up the yard, reasonably cut your grass, dont distrub the peace. simple... oh wait, most these rules are already local laws in most places, so why the hell have a HOA that YOU pay them to do things they never do or take too long doing or do a half @ss job once they do it? screw them. they offer nothing.

sadly though if not enough residendents and members fight it, some activist judge may stall justice for years, but this is something that should not stand up in court and if went to the supreme court it will be shot down (no pun intended) as it clearly violates the constitution. all rules of these things must be reasonable and not conflict with any local, state, or especially federal statute.

this is so ridiculous...i dont think law enforcement can enforce a rule of a homeowners association; the only thing they (the hoa) could do is 'fine' you and try to seize the property, but there are many legal ways around that especially if you get a bank who has a security interest involved - they want you to keep your house so you can pay them back more than they want to take your house...

I'd just tell the HOA to perform certain unmentionable acts to myself and then perform certain physically improbably acts upon themselves.

Then out of spite I'd paint my house black and pave my lawn with blacktop and paint my sidewalk and driveway black. Basically make everything on my property black. If I have trees or a hedge I'd paint them black too.

Then maybe I'd put up some Christmas lights to turn on after dark but only if it was summertime.

I actually own a functional cold war civil defense/tornado siren (Federal Signal 2T22). Just sayin'.

I'd park all my vehicles off site and drive and park special vehicles at my house. These would be old Demolition Derby cars painted, you guessed it, black. A truck would work too if it was suitably beat up and had 44 inch tires and of course was black.

I would see about landing a helicopter on the lawn. Preferably a black one.

Anything to rile a HOA.

Don't forget to go the army surplus and get a used howitzer and park it in the front yard (and paint it black).

Hey, you said no guns. No one said anything about artillery.

Bonus, aim it at the HOA presidents house.
