Does anyone know where I can find info about riding off trail while hunting. I've been wanting to use my ATV more but have been worried about law and regs. about being off trail. I heard that you can ride off trail to retrieve your kill. Is that true for 2008 in Cali???[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

I don't know about Nor Cal, but in So Cal (at least on the West side) don't even think about it. These yahoos will ticket you for anything they can. Lay your yearly pass on the dash board instead of hanging it on the mirror and get a ticket. Take a leak out in the middle of no-where without a structure of any sort within 10 miles (nor was there any other people around), and get threaten with an indecent exposure charge, meaning you will register as a sex offender for the rest of your life and have to give up all of your guns. Yes, all of the above has happen to me personally.
