Wow, that's really fascinating. My ancestors all got here after everything was settled and they were all really boring. No stories worth handing down either. No mass muderers or anything like that.

Jumbo...I dont know where you are going with your response. Willie I was asking my questions because based off of your replys, I expected you to answer that you were 100% of one tribe or another. Indian instincts and such.....I was just asking.

Okie: If you don;t understand the Native American tradition, I can't help you. I doubt there are any 100% Native Americans anywhere.I am a survivor like all my ancestors, including Chief Red Eagle.Thats why your wife lives in Okalahoma, her parents survived,as did her grand parents. My ancestors were allowed to stay in Alabama, and prospered. To be raised in the tradition of the tribes,is another matter.I was raised that way by my mother(women of the Creek Nation were leaders)and she installed the values of the land that I live on today.Use of the land is a privelige that my forfathers inherited because of their conservation.

Well I grew up on an Reservation and still live here. My gf is native and I feel fortunate to have been able to learn the culture right in school, I took Seneca as a language so no habla espanish. As far a heritage, it truly is a great thing to respect and be proud of no matter where you came form. I would say that life experiences make the man (in terms of being a woodsman). I don't think you could watch Survivor Man and seriously expect to live off the land for a week with the bare necessities.
And yes there are still 100% Natives
