We are leaving to go to GA at the end of the month.. Have to set up camp, the pop up camper, and taking the suzuki up there. We are on a lease up there ( we are from FL) Open gun week at the lease is toward the end of October, so my fiance will be gone for a week to get us some deer.. Hopefully we get on the lease next year so I can go up there and get something!!

Another 2 weeks til our bow hunting starts. Not my favorite time to hunt though. Still too hot around here. I'll go out but mostly for scouting. If you don't bag one in the 3 week September hunt, your allowed to go during a 2 week January hunt. And it's a better time to catch em in the rut. September is for the elk hunt but I didn't get one in the lottery draw. 3 months until the two week gun season here. November 15. Then it's so cold I don't even want to go. It sucks when you can only go on the weekends too because one of them is Thanksgiving. When I was working that meant I had one weekend a year to deer hunt because I could never get any vacation time off.

Blasers sound really sweet, but pricey, from what I read in magazines. I thought Fallow Deer were only in Europe but I don't know much about them. Good luck Steve.

Yes, they are a bit more expensive than what I would spend normaly. Had to save for a while.... and then trade in a few..
Fallow here escaped from farms and bred up... not native to Aus.
