Default amperage/power

The amperage or power is determined by the circuit that you connect the outlet to. If you connect the outlet to a 5 amp circuit, then you can get 5 amps (without blowing the fuse). Simple as that. If you connect it directly to the battery, then the currect would be limited by the amperage of the fuse that you have in line with the device.

It wont be a definite answer but you could look at your fuses on the atv and see what amp fuse is for accessories. This will determine your max amps that you could use before blowing it. Dont switch it out for a bigger amp fuse either. you will burn something up.
