Gun rack picks!!!
#1
Check out my new picks of my fishing rod/gun rack on my 2001 kodiak!! This gun rack is from a pickup. Just took out the center bolt so it would fold and used plastic ties to hook it to the quad!! It has been on for 2 months and hasnt moved at all. Everybody that sees this likes it.

That link worked just fine. Good idea! Do you have any clearance problems, between trees etc? I thought about the pvc tube on the side idea but not so sure about trapping myself on the quad. Most of my gear is 2-pce so your idea seems a little safer.

Good im glad it works!! As far a clearance problems, i haven't ran into any so far. I really like this idea because it it cheaper than buying a gun rack made for an atv and it looks good. I have my pistol case bolt down in between the gun rack so it is always with me, and easy to get to.

Pistol case might be the next item. So far I have been using a "fannypack" style holster for my 45 (1911). Mud can be a problem so maybe I will look at a waterproof case. I have several that hold 2-4 pistols and have seen the singles at most shows. Fast access is mostly just for snakes or overly curious camp inspecting bears, so a case should be just fine.
Thx again for the input.
