Just found this forum. Have just barely started shopping for an ATV. I've had Honda and Yamaha dirt bikes but hell the ATV's cost more than my car. Found the Jetmoto 250 and became very interested in it. Then read mention of the Vbike on here and that's looks promising as well for the money. Just looking for something to get outdoors on some trails. I'm 41 now and way out of shape to be track riding and jumping so I just don't think I need to shell out so much money that I don't have anyway. I'll keep reading and looking but your input is welcome.

If I were you, i would look at getting a use honda or something, you don't need to buy new. But i know what you mean about cost i could of bought 2 bikes for what i paid for mine new.

 

Thanks for the friendly welcome. Used would be okay. But people are still getting like $2k for say a 2003 Yamaha 350. 6 years old. I can't spend more than $1800. Still got to buy a trailer too and get a hitch put on.

 

I got a 89 warrior for $1000, it is old but it runs like a champ.

Also check harbor frieght they have cheap trailers if you are looking for a new one.

craigslist has all kinds of quads and trailers.

Thanks MrD. I'm looking for a sport quad. I guess a 250 is fine or 300. I'm 5'9 200lbs. Just looking to get out on some trails and tool around. Not gonna go to motocross tracks. Mostly just cruising around on the dirt and rocks.
