2006 polaris sportsman 500 h.o carb settings

Does anybody know the setting for the idle screw on a 2006 sportsman 500 h.o carb from full in on screw?

welcome to the forum. take your questions to the polaris section for best results. just set the idle so your idled at 1150 rpm's when it's warm.

Thanks for the reply, You seem like you know your stuff as I see your replies all over the place. Quickly, I am new to this forum stuff so not to friendly with it yet, Here is what happened. My kids messed with the throttle adjustment I got that back to the specs it should be but after that the only way it would stay running is to have the choke out. As soon as I push it in it dies. Itried adjusting the Idle but now it backfires and will not start so I would like to put it back to the fact. setting and start from there.
