selenoid makes a knock like sound when i push button but wont crank starter.checked all fuses,all wires,starter is new,battery is new.is there a way a way to bypass the selinoid.i just want to see if thats the problem

 

welcome to the forums. need to post in other forum. but while you're here....what's voltage on battery? have you jumped the battery? is it properly charged and holding voltage? jumped the solenoid with a screwdriver? engaged left handlebar brake handle to satisfy safety interlock? if applicable, neutral switch light on? a lot of variables to look at. but is does sound like the battery's voltage is down. charge it or jump it from your car....she'll go.

 

brand new battery,brand new starter,fully charged,could i hav a bad starter?or is this what the relay does when it goes bad?how would i check relay?tried jumping the relay with no luck.
