Welcome to the forums.
Pull the radiator. I know on my 2006 Sportsman X2 500 that was the issue. Mud gets caked in around the radiator shroud leaving the 4 corners of the radiator clogged. After that was cleaned out it ran without overheating. Hosing it out only cleans the circular area where the shroud is open.
