Just put the EPI race clutch kit in the 700
Just put in the EPI race clutch kit which includes a red and black spring and weights. When the clutchs engage now the rpm's do come up more and it seems to slam into gear. I'm thinking this will eventually have some bad affects on the drive train! Took it out tonight and ran it against another V Force and found that the stock V Force would keep up with the clutched one out of the hole and then we ran um down the gravel road and they ran side by side till about an 1/8 of a mile and then the clutched V would get out about 2 quad lengths and stayed there till we let off. Both machines have stock exhaust. We swapped riders and the results were the same. We ran them then side by side at about 30 mph and gassed them as close to the same time as possible and the clutched V would jump ahead about 2 feet and would slowly pull out to the 2 quad lengths after a couple 100 yards but never got much farther ahead than that. In the grass they both would stand straight up which ended up costing us a tail light on the stock V! Wow them tail lights bust up good! The guy with the stock V has decided to get the springs but not the weights because the gain is not worth the cost. I hate to say it but I agree!
