Default warranty and break in

Has anyone ever had to deal with Kawasaki and their extended warranty? i got my new v-force last week and bought a extended warranty and wondered if i (have to) take it back in to the dealer after the 10 hour breakin? do they actually check the valves? i bought the oil for the rearend, and a oil change, but reading the warranty info, it says i must keep receipts and follow the service guidelines, which means the dealership needs to see my 700 more then my dentist needs to see me.

also, how long did you guys wait before you actually got on the 700? it says break in is 10 hours, but i'm just chomping at the bit to give her full throttle... so i trying my best to not get on it, although it is nice to pull wheelies just at half throttle too. lol

thanks

Default warranty and break in

I took mine in at 26 hours, they did adjust the valves, and they shimmed the secondary clutch. It wheelies even easier than it used to, actually caused me to crash the other night. It cost two hours labor which in my opinion was money well spent. I change my own oils and check everything else, and after I get a service manual I will check my own valves too.

They told me that the only thing that had to be done was change the oil & fluids. They said I could do it myself as long as I kept the receipts and logged the hours down on them.
