my mojave keeps blowing bulbs and when i checked the volts it was 12 at idel but when i reved it up it hit like 40. this should be the regulators jub to keep it at 12. i got a new regulator and tried it and it still blows them. a guy told me to ground the reg but it still blows them. i talked to some dealers and the only other thing they can think of is if there is a ground in the circutry. can anybody help me . i am at my wits end. i am also running no tail light but i hooked up another 12 volt bulb thinking it would lower the volts but the readings still went up way to high.

Get a higher wattage bulb, one that can handle the extra power.

Voltage is bypassing the regulator. Has the machine been re-wired?
