Bayou 220 stalling
#1
ok, my bayou 220 stalls when i go through water or mud fast enough to throw mud on the front, everytime i hit a mud hole or a creek going about 10 or 15 mph it stalls, wont start for a while, then it doesnt run right for about 15 min. And, what kind of mud tires should i get for it, i sometimes ride on roads too, so they have to wer well, thanks for your imput, later

hey 4wheeler220, what year is your bayou? that is so strange!!! i was just about to post that same question!!! that happens on my '94 bayou 220 all the time, too, we had a new starter put it, cuz it started hard w/ the electric start, but it still starts hard now, even w/ a new starter, and it still shuts off in water or mud, does anyone know what is wrong??

I have the 1994 bayou 220 too and it never cuts off in mud or water. i have had water over the racks with just the air box up and it still didnt shut off. I had a new starter put in it two years ago cause i ground it down so much. But for your Mud Tires you need to get some
Gators, They are awesome. It runs just like you have all factory. But now i can get through anything.
