Black Spring?

Black Spring?
The black spring is a replacement for the stock spring in the secondary (rear/driven) clutch. It increases tension on the side of the belt at the rear clutch which improves back shifting and greatly increases belt life when the belt is kept at the proper tension. Do a search within this forum and you'll find a vast amount of info on this subject.

Black Spring?
Thanks, i've been doing some research and from what i've read it sounds like the red spring is the way to go for the 360. I've been having trouble with my belt slipping even after having it tightened. If going with the red spring is wrong please let me know but epi recomends the red. Should the primary spring be changed also? Nova Scotia rocks

Black Spring?
I'd go with what epi recommends. The black works great for the 650 but it seems to me that I have read on here that the red is best for the 360. I wouldn't bother with a primary spring unless you have larger tires that you need to get moving easier. The primary spring raises the engagement rpm and can be a little harsh for everyday trail riding. Use low range whenever you can to maximize belt life and reduce slipping.
