GNCC Racing Rules Question
NYVForce,
I don't know the answer to the question, but even if you are permitted to race at that width I wouldn't do it. The tracks are very tight (especially the eastern tracks). A stock VForce is too wide for the races in my opinion. I would prefer to race a narrower quad. Just my opinion, thought.

GNCC Racing Rules Question
NYVForce,
Most of the "tracks" aren't much of a track at all in the eastern races. Rather, the week before the race the organizers create a track by (seemintly) arbitrarily walking through the tightest of woods and marking it as a track, so you end up racing through virgin forest. Don't get me wrong, there are some open sections, but most of the eastern races are super tight (half the time you're at a crawl pace). I couldn't imaging trying to do the race on a DS650 or something that wide. I give a lot of credit to Adam Howell and the other guys at Team Kawasaki who race the Vs successfully and win, because lots of those trees you're clearing by half an inch.
I tend to race at a slower pace than some of the crazies out there, but inevitably when you get arm pump and with all of the rocks you'll end up hitting a tree or two (luckily I haven't broken any A Arms or tie rods. With a wide quad you're at a tremendous disadvantage.

GNCC Racing Rules Question
I raced at Raucsh Creek with my V-Force, and you do not want to be that wide. I had a hard time going through some area's where each tire was rubbing a tree. There is no need to be that wide, because there isn't many places where you need to take fast corners to be stabble. You will shoot yourself in the butt if you try to race that wide. By the way, I will be racing that event too. Maybe we will see each other.
