Man that's a bunch of big mother ******* riding quads. At least if anybody you guys ran into wanted to talk crap while you were out you wouldn't have much trouble giving them an attitude ajustment. That is good news you have for v-force owners, which I might be one day. Peace and God bless.

Thanks for the great post Kevin... It was badly needed... My buddy just bought a 250r yesterday, and this weekend we are gonna line them up, my V, 04 Raptor, 250r.. My buddy with the raptor read the article in atv action so now he thinks my V is a slow utility quad. Also my bud has a digi video cam, so we are gonna video this and im gonna put it online to show the real results.

Where can a guy get this purple spring that you are talking about? I tried changing my secondary spring but ended up losing acelleration and top speed. I was running the black spring for the p650. I have had similar drag results as you with my own custom built exhaust and stock springs. I outran a 686 Raptor as well as 3 piped and 1 stocker. If you could tell me where to get this spring it would be greatly appreciated.

Good post,
Why is it so hard to believe that some of the other bikes can be beaten by a V-force, it's a torque monster.
The only limiting factor with the v-force is in the size of the clutches, which limits speed, and the timeing thing. The RPMs can be raised by lighting the clutch, at which time heavier clutch weights can be added to increase torque to the ground.
I'm not all that surprised!
