Kawasaki is at Dirt Days in WV and they are traveling with a very nice Prairie 700. Tommorrow I ride with Kawasaki and will fill you in on the 700 when I get the chance as I am running a dyno at the event. Maybe hopefully I will get to slip the 700 on there and let you guys know what one will do...
Also look for NYROC to possibly post some pics from the show as I sent him some photos and look at the suspension. The shocks may surprise you hehe.

Did you notice any differences in the radiator or cooling system? Did they shroud it more? Did the fins look wider? Anything?

Front and Rear racks are different. They have tie bars on them.. As for the rest of it I have not noticed much in the area of changes as the thing looks like a 650 with 700 on the side of it. I will hopefully get a chance to see what more lies in wait as I continue to cruise around the units on display. I can tell you from following one today that the thing has awesome power just like the 650 and according to Mike Penland the thing has more to offer in every area.

Dirt Days is headquartered just outside Logan on Route 10 heading toward the town of Man,.

I looked at the front configuration of the new 700 today and it is the same as the 650. Plastic floor and all. I would recommend that this be changed to aluminum plating since it is now somewhat exposed by the new grill design... I also noticed that there is a lot more area to let air into the front of the quad. I think this design may be a godsend and a headache at the same time.

If I can check out anything else let me know and I will look for you.

NEW Belt manufacturer and design for the 700 as well. Shhhhhhhhhh don't tell I am going to buy me a 700 belt for my 650...or will Kawasaki supersede my current belt number for the new one...

Good is the new design quieter than the 650?
