Hi guys,

Has anyone ever found any paint to match the racks on ' 03 P650's. I made a removable/washable screen for the front of the rad, and welded hinges to the front rack supports...now i'd like to match the paint back up, instead of painting it all black. Apparently Kawasaki doesn't have any ??

do you have any pics of your screen ? if so could you email them to me bigddoney@aol.com.also did you use the metal grill that was in there, if not would you sell that peice?

What I did was built a rectangular frame out of 1/2" angle iron to fit over the flimsy screen that's out front now, hinged it at the top, and secured at the bottom with two 1/4" bolts..inside this angle iron frame, i have two pieces of 1/4" expanded metal sandwiching metal screen (screen door stuff). when i wanna clean it....i just remove the two 1/4" bolts, flip it up...and out pops the screen...wash it off..and replace it..takes all of 5 mins..if not less. i don't have any pics of it..but can get some, if ya's wish. As for the flimsy screen that is there from the factory...it's still there, and really don't wanna remove it ( i need all the weight I can get up front to keep the wheels on the ground..haha). Would realy like to get some paint to match the rack though, so i can paint the hinges..the rest will be painted black.
