try kenda bear klaw they r good i have them on my mojave and they r good in the snow mud and trail now they have 22-11-10 out so u can get them a little smaller.

you take the front wheels off and turn them around and bolt them back up this will add atleasdt 1 inch to each side in width, i didnt do it because the stock valve stim comes in contact with the brake caliper so you can either ditch the idea or buy 2 new valve stems and take out the old stems and put these new stems in backwards, then drill a hole on the other side of the rim and put the 2 old valve stems in right side up, a little bit of work but not alot of money

The stock tires suck, especally in the snow where they give little floatation. They only thing they have going for them is that they are light.
I wouldn't screw around with flipping your front wheels. It is a PITA plus the greater offset will put additional stress on your front wheel bearings. Fast Trekkers are good front tires, they are cheap, perform well and you can get 22-8-10's which really widen things out in front. For rear the Realtors would be nice. I've got Cheng Shin Wooly Booger copies that work fine, a bit heavier than stock but they wear like iron. Realtors would be higher performance.

there heavier then the stock tire but there 6ply and mine don't have one plug in it and my tires have lasted for 3 year with a beaten. yea i think the smaller one is outand i think they r lighter then then mine.
