Default V Force jet kit install

Ok, this might sound confusing, Dyno Jet #'s are smaller than stock #'s. Here is the reason the number on a stock jet has to do with the size of the whole, and the number on a Dyno Jet is the amount of fuel that can go through the jet. Dyno Jet tells you exactly what jet's to use depending on your elevation and they are spot on. We have been using Dyno Jet's in all of our bikes for a while now. We also have a V FORCE with Dyno Jet Kit and Dual Pro Circuit exhaust let me know if you need any help (it's actually my dad's bike but I will get you the answers. I also run Dyno Jet in my Raptor!

AND NO DYNOJET IS NOT THE SAME AS DIAL A JET,

I agree with the others. DynoJet uses a different jet number for the same fuel delivery as the carb mfg. Their needles are also designed with a different taper, which they claim is the most important circuit in the carb for tuning because it delivers the 1/4 to 3/4 throttle. The main jet is only for the wide open throttle.

It is hard to argue with the performance tips they recommend. They do all the research and tell you what to put in it. These are the same guys who make the dyno's that all the shops use to measure horsepower, so you know they are dyno'ing their jetting products.

I had no idea that the Dynojet #'s and stock #'s don't mean the same thing. I wish they gave me some kind of conversion chart. Does that mean that I went to a larger jet instead of a smaller jet? I'm running Dynojets #118 and #122. Thanks guys..

From what little instructions came with the kit, Dynojet recommends running jets #118 and #122 if your riding from 3000 feet to 6000 feet. Since I ride at or above 6000 feet I could probably go even smaller because it recommends running #116 and #120 above 6000.

My bad, ours is jetted for sea level and for aftermarket exhaust, you will know if your jetting is right by riding it!

ALSO how is the jet kit bad for the motor over time? Is it worse than just jetting your stock carb and changing your needle position in your stock carb? Thanks!!!
