Default V700 vs. 440EX?

Just wondering. I have a buddy who is getting a 440 EX & is saying he is going to be able to smoke my 700? Just wondering if anyone has raced one of those on their 700? Another question, he mentioned that a 250R with a pipe will smoke a Banshee with pipes? I though Banshee's were fast once they were piped? Could it be beat by 100cc less single cylinder piped R?

If your V700 is stock, and his 440ex is built right, he may be able to beat you. I beat two stock V700's a couple of weeks ago on my 400 by about 2 bike lenghts on a 600 foot strip. Of course, it depends alot on riding ability and traction.

Yeah it will beat it or at least should. My Z will hang right with a 700 in short drags

He's talking about a 440ex. Not a stock 400ex.

Well, like they say if the ex is tuned right and really built it could beat a STOCK v-force. No a 250r with just a pipe won't beat a banshee with a pipe unless it was on a track. The shee is a LOT faster in a drag than the 250r. If the v-force has any mods done to it it would easily beat a 440ex in a drag but I don't know on a track.
