IM GOING TO THE DUNES THIS WEEKEND AND WANT TO ORDER SOME REAR SAND TIRES, I SAW TEDDY700 HAD SOME EXTREME 22-11-10 HAULERS ON HIS. IS EXTREME THE BRAND NAME? I DID A SEARCH AND DID NOT FIND EXTREME AS A BRAND NAME. WHAT ARE YOUR OPINIONS ON THE BEST TIRE FOR THE V-FORCE AND WHERE DO I GET THEM IN A HURRY? OR HOW DO THE STOCK TIRES DO IN THE SAND. THIS IS MY FIRST VISIT TO THE SAND, DO I NEED SAND TIRES?

rockymountainatv.com or recreationtires.com have good prices and quick service. The stock tires will be fine except in the deepest loose sand. They will be fine for the wide open areas. IF you order the Scat Trak Extremes, be sure to get front tires (Mohawk style) also or you'll have trouble steering. The Edge from Scat Trak will also be good.

budwsr, I ended up getting the skat-trac 22-11-10 edge paddles for the v-force. They worked great everywhere is the sand exept they are a little slower in drag races. I think this spring Im also going to invest in a set of 24-11-10 skat-trac extreme haulers. Ive heard alot of guys say they really help in the drag races. Have you ever been to the sand dunes in rock springs? Im want to try the sand up there this year. Oh and welcome to this site. You can get alot of great info from the guys here, just ask.

No actually I haven't been to Rock Springs.
I have been doing allot of trail riding up in Poudre canyon, up on Storm Mountain, Big Elk Meadow
any thoughts on the less expensive tires such as:
Rooster ( straight or v) Dune hopper , Sand Devil or the Sand Stars?
I'm doing small mods here and there ( when the money comes in)
hey do I need to rejet the carb if I put a K&N on?
Got any good web sites for cheaper stuff?
thanks

Because the v-force has so much power it will just spin a lesser sand tire from what ive heard. modding any thing on the v- force is expensive, so to go faster your bank account must be fatter. Jetting the V is trial and error. make the mods and change the jets accordingly!
