im thinkin bout gettin a lokata cause there is a local dealer and they seem like an underated atv to me. i was wonderin how they compare with the 300ex and mojave. are they quick and easy to wheelie and just all around a fun and reliable bike to ride. and also are they easy to hop up.

wht size front sprocket do they come with....

any info u have would be appreciated.

The lakota is a very good machine it can take a beating and as far as compared to a 300ex and mojave they top out about right with the mojave and the 300ex is a little faster, but it handles better than the mojave with the longer swingarm. The front sprocket is like mahnster said 12t.Also they can wheelie easy, but be prepared to change the clutch there clutches are bad for slipping when you wheelie and stuff, but k&g make a clutch kit for it that is supposed to stop slippage.

I love my Kota it is great!
I believe it is one of the best trail machines available.
It does and can take a beating, mine was beat during break in
It will hit about 55
I Know it can hang wit a Blaster, and they give 300ex a good run
I have raced my cousin who is a good rider on his 250ex and I weight more than he does (180!) and I beat him, It was sorta close but I won, and I can out jump a blaster and 250ex pretty good
like I said the kota is a sweet all round machine , with low end power to help you out of sticky situations,
The Lakota can wheelie witout popping the clutch, You need to give a little throttle pull back strong and apply more throttle, its hard but can be done, if you have a slight bumb, apply throttle before the bumb and she will wheelie with ease.
my 2*$
