Default Test results for EPI Pink spring

Just installed my EPI pink spring. It doesnt work very well in my honest opinion. I put it in did some runs down the road and around some trails by my house. It doesnt feel like i gained any pull to til about where the dead spot was. then it pulls better then the stocker. It may have gained a few MPH on top end though. The way it works i can see it working good on a stock bike or if you just want the same as stock with a few MPH extra on top end this is the spring to get. I am taking mine out. Any one want to buy it? or I'll trade for an EPI red primary spring. Only had it in for an hour. Let me know.

mtecate4g...

I noticed that you have two V's. I would love to know the results of a drag race between the two. One with the origional spring and one with the pink. I have not raced anyone since I've had my pink, so the results of having a pink are still limited to the seat of the pants feel. Not by actual race time. If you could do a drag between the two before you chuck out the pink spring, I would appreciate it. Thanks..

Depending on the results of a drag race between your 2 quads I may be interested.

I would do drag tests between them if i had it. The orange one was stolen about a month and a half ago. Also i have a pipe on mine so it would be faster anyway. I can borrow my bros GPS and see what the speed gain was. It is a good spring for all round use but i am looking for somthing more agressive. I also think i am going to get a set of duals. My single puts out great torque and low to mid but maybe a dual system will put out better top end.

What mods did you do to the airbox. I cut a whole in mine and it was a nightmare. IT wouldn't do anything. I had to duct tape it back up just to get it to move.

I put 20 3/8 holes in the airbox lid on the right side. jet up 2 sizes from stock and gave the airmixture screws 2.5-2.75 turns from seated and she'll scream.

Full Throttle:

Post your results when you are done please. I have a pink spring on order and would like to see another opinion. I have a stock bike so hopefully it will make a difference. The only other mods I plan are some airbox mods and a K&N filter with a jetting change.
