Default ? removing carb coolant lines on V-Force

Anyone on here done this yet? Just wondering if there is anything to watch out for before I tear into it. Thanks in advance...

Easy to do, just make sure to put clamps on the caps.

Makes air intake slightly cooler, slight increase in power. Slightly (miniscule) increase in cooling capacity.

Shane B from Cali did this so that the mixture atomizes easier. Do a search as he has the whole process posted with pix and all. They always have warm weather down there so it makes sense. If you intend to ride your bike at 45 F or less , I would leave them as they are.

Just my 2C worth

Thanks for the posts guys. I just don't see the need in it when it is usually 80-100F where I ride. Most of the time I don't even have to use the choke.
